The management, treatment, and purification of wastewater represent a fundamental technical challenge in both residential and industrial settings. For this reason, Verra Oleopneumatica designs and manufactures filtration systems capable of operating consistently and precisely, ensuring the mechanical separation of suspended solids upstream of the discharge processes. Each screening system is designed to protect downstream pipes and pumps from potentially harmful debris. The use of a high-quality hydraulic screen cleaner allows for the management of variable flow rates and harsh working conditions, offering businesses and individuals a customized solution that minimizes environmental impact and drastically reduces costs related to downtime and manual maintenance.

EQUICURRENT CHAIN SCREEN CLEANER (SCE)

The Downstream Chain Screen Cleaner (SCE) is a machine consisting of a sturdy, press-formed and electro-welded structure, suitably stiffened in hot-dip galvanized carbon steel or, upon customer request, in AISI 304 or 316 stainless steel. The screen is made of steel plate with transverse ribbing and can be configured to full height upon request. To facilitate waste management, the terminal section is shaped from sheet metal to efficiently convey the material directly to the discharge outlet. The rotation of the shaft that drives the chain, which allows the cleaning combs to be raised, is controlled by an oil-bath worm gearmotor. The comb-carrying chain can be adjusted using special registers and rotates on steel pinions mounted on bearings with a grease chamber, while the steel drive shaft rotates on cast iron supports. The hardened steel chains slide on guides and rollers to facilitate mechanical movement. The screening combs are made of steel with rotating torsional supports, ideal if there is an anomalous object between the comb and the grid, while the sliding part in contact with the grid is made of anti-friction material. Safety is ensured by a dynamometric pendulum that protects the rotation and lifting action against possible overloads. Optionally, an IP 55 or IP 65 electrical panel protected by a rain cover can be installed.

MINI HYDRAULIC EQUICURRENT SCREEN CLEANER (SOE-MINI)

For smaller channels, the mini downflow hydraulic screen cleaner (SOE-MINI) is the ideal solution. Its structure is made of press-formed and electro-welded sheet metal of appropriate size, made of galvanized or painted carbon steel, or AISI 304/316 upon request. The carriage, which houses the comb-holder arm and its cleaning comb, slides on the main structure. The comb's raising and lowering movement is controlled by an inverted hydraulic cylinder. It slides first on the fixed screen and then on the conveyor plate, discharging the screened material directly into the container. The comb's movement during the raising and lowering phases is controlled by dedicated hydraulic cylinders. This hydraulic screen cleaner features a movement system powered by a control unit with integrated overload protection. Electronic management is entrusted to an electrical panel with PLC that ensures the correct sequence of operations, while the work-pause time is managed by a timer set by the operator.

HYDRAULIC EQUICURRENT SINGLE ARM SCREEN CLEANER (SOE-MONO)

The single-arm, parallel-current hydraulic screen cleaner (SOE-MONO) features a basic structure made of press-bent and electro-welded sheet metal, designed to make the entire assembly rigid and uniform. It is available in galvanized carbon steel or AISI 304 stainless steel. The control unit is housed inside the machine on appropriate crosspieces, accessible via an opening panel. The guide and screening unit are hinged to the upper part of the structure with a hydraulic tilting system. The comb carriage slides on self-lubricated MTA 22 shaped wheels, while the comb itself is made of perforated and shaped sheet metal, bolted to the guide rails. At the end is a MTA 22 plastic strip with teeth to penetrate the spaces between the fixed screen, dramatically improving cleaning. The control is managed by a suitably powerful control unit with a double gear pump and a solenoid valve unit with a hydraulic system to prevent abnormal overloads. This hydraulic screen cleaner can be built with a double-guided arm for long channels or a single-guided arm for smaller channels. For specific needs, the system can be mounted on rails for very wide channels or equipped with a telescopic arm with a double-extension cylinder for applications with limited height. The on-board IP 55/IP 65 control panel, managed by a PLC, allows for manual or automatic operation.

DOUBLE ARM HYDRAULIC EQUICURRENT SCREEN CLEANER (SOE-DOUBLE ARM)

If the size or capacity of the single-arm hydraulic screen cleaner is insufficient for the channel's needs, you can opt for the double-arm version (SOE-DOUBLE ARM). This system offers superior strength and capacity, making it suitable for channels of considerable length or width and for extremely demanding working conditions. The structure uses a double lateral guide that supports the comb carriage, ensuring optimal rigidity. The movement system is powered by a powerful hydraulic power unit, which activates the arms, ensuring uniform and effective screen cleaning. Choosing this double-arm hydraulic screen cleaner guarantees excellent performance and constant protection against overloads.
